Blueline Estate is Hourglass's Calistoga property, acquired in 2006 and planted to Bordeaux varieties on well-drained gravelly soils. Malbec is a small-production piece of the estate program, separate from the winery's better-known Cabernet bottlings and tied closely to this eastern Napa Valley site.
