2013 Favia Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
95
Wine Advocate
Review Date: 12/2015The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon offers beautiful Margaux-like floral notes, sweet blue and black fruits, beautifully integrated ripe tannin, adequate acidity and a judicious use of oak. It’s medium to full-bodied, extremely elegant and discreet, but intense at the same time. This is a beautiful example of combining power with complexity in an age-worthy, complete wine. (RP)

Notes
Favia is the project of winemaker Andy Erickson and viticulturist Annie Favia, with a small-production focus on Napa Valley Cabernet and Rhône varieties. This Oakville Cabernet comes from one of Napa's most recognized Cabernet Sauvignon AVAs, and 2013 was a notably structured drought-season vintage across the valley.
