Review Date: 12/2015The 2013 Proprietary Red Mad Hatter, 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot, is a big-time winner. It has a gorgeously deep ruby/purple color, a sweet kiss of licorice, blackcurrants, black cherries, camphor and incense. The wine is fragrant, with supple tannins, an opulent lushness and a total hedonistic and intellectual turn-on. (RP)

Fleshy, open and seductive, the 2013 Mad Hatter makes a great introduction to the wines of Dancing Hares. Mocha, plum, dark stone fruit and spice flesh out at this succulent Cabernet Sauvignon-based red shows off its inviting personality. (AG)
