The 2016 Morgon Les Charmes is a beauty and tastes like a Premier Cru Burgundy from the Côte de Beaune. Beautiful red fruits, spice, forest floor, and underbrush notes all flow seamlessly to a medium-bodied, layered, concentrated yet weightless Morgon that has fine tannins, subtle, integrated acidity, and a great, smoky, meaty finish. It’s a beautiful wine as well as a killer value.
