Château Gontey is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru estate owned by Marc Pasquet, farming 3.7 hectares of clay-limestone soils planted to 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, with an average vine age of 35 years and annual production of approximately 22,000 bottles. The wine is aged in a combination of new and used French oak barrels and cement tanks.
