The 2017 Cabernet Franc is a very pretty, supple wine with lovely fruit purity and terrific balance. In 2017, the Detert Franc is fruity and forward, with plenty of immediacy, but less of the nuance found in the very best years. Even so, there is a good bit of freshness to the crushed red cherry, pomegranate and floral flavors.
