The vines for the Bachelet brothers’ Bourgogne Blanc are all planted in Puligny and are forty-five to fifty years of age. This is a very good example, offering up a bright bouquet of apple, quince, fresh almond, chalky soil tones and a topnote of spring flowers. On the palate the wine is fullish, wide open in personality and succulent, with a good core, fine focus and grip and a long, zesty finish.
