The 2025 Piero Mancini Vermentino di Gallura is a classic, deeply coastal expression from Sardinia’s only DOCG. Grown in the signature, poor eluvial granite soils around Olbia in the northeast corner of the island, this unoaked white captures the variety's textbook balance of varietal fruit and intense maritime influence. It pours a brilliant pale straw yellow with greenish highlights. The nose is highly expressive and mineral-driven, offering up a clean mix of white peach, green apple, and fresh citrus zest, layered over complex undertones of wild Mediterranean herbs (macchia), white flowers, and a hint of smoky stone dust.
