A focused, linear and relatively light red that offers bright red cherry and cranberry flavors, bracing acidity and moderate tannins. It's tight at first sip, then opens in the glass. Attractive for its restraint. Aged in 10% new oak barrels and other lightly used barrels, so the oak spice notes are subtle and supportive. Medium-bodied. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
