From the Saar village of Serrig, Bert Simon's Herrenberg Kabinett comes from one of the Saar's traditional slate sites. The 2005 German vintage was generally warm and concentrated, and Kabinett remains the Prädikat level intended to emphasize lighter weight and moderate alcohol rather than late-harvest richness.
