2005 Paraduxx Napa Valley Red Blend
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Paraduxx Napa Valley Red Blend. This blend of mostly Zinfandel, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc was aged in a combination of partial new French (80%) and American (20%) oak. Duckhorn's second label, Paraduxx's flagship red blend is a plush, medium-bodied offering presenting a delightful mix of raspberry, black cherry, and cassis with exotic spice accents on the nose, underscored by hints of dark chocolate and sweet tobacco. Cabernet adds depth and structure to the Zin's fruitiness and spice, for a wine that is full in the mouth with velvety tannins. Baking spice and savory herbs punctuate the finish.
