This second release of Westborn's multi-vintage blend, the NV Perpetual Reserve NV.02, is a blend of 52% Pinot Noir, 41% Chardonnay and 7% Pinot Meunier. It's about half reserve wine, with the balance coming from the 2021 vintage. With only 38 months en tirage, it's fresher and more fruit driven than the vintage bottlings, showing off plenty of lemon-lime notes, only accented by hints of toast and ginger. Medium-bodied, with a modest dosage of six grams per liter, it's crisp and refreshing on the finish.
