A well-made Napa Chardonnay showing all the soft, luscious creamy and buttery elements of a Napa-born Chardonnay, balanced by a racier side showing crisp acidity and chalky minerality. In between, this medium-bodied white offers up charred pineapple, Banana Foster Crème Brûlée, and French pastry notes. Aged 9 months in 40% new French oak with 90% barrel fermented and 10% tank fermented. (JC)
