Taurasi is Campania's benchmark DOCG for Aglianico, grown in the inland hills of Irpinia where elevation and volcanic-influenced soils give the wines their reputation for structure and longevity. Alois' "Campole" sits in that traditional mold, with the 2005 vintage now well into bottle age.
