Here in its inaugural vintage, the 2015 Pinot Noir Fraenkle-Cheshier emerges from a cool, late-ripening site in the Sebastopol Hills. Bright red cherry, rose petal, mint and white pepper notes abound. Soft, succulent and inviting, the 2015 screams with personality. The 10% whole clusters add striking aromatic lift throughout. What a gorgeous, vivid wine this is. (AG) 95+

A vineyard-designate Pinot Noir from Paul Hobbs' Russian River Valley program, bottled here in magnum. Hobbs built his Sonoma reputation on site-specific Pinot Noir and Chardonnay bottlings, with each vineyard lot handled separately before final élevage decisions are made.
