Review Date: 06/2024There’s so much sliced lime and green apple with hints of toasted oak and salt water taffy. Full-bodied with a solid texture and well-integrated phenolics that give such great length and focus. Fluid and so attractive on the palate. A Corton Charlemagne clone. Delicious now, but will show more complexity with age.

Named for grower Larry Hyde and his sons, this bottling comes from Hyde family holdings in Carneros, a cool, wind-swept district at the southern end of Napa and Sonoma. Mark Aubert is a Sonoma Chardonnay specialist with a long track record in single-vineyard sites, and this cuvee is part of his focused single-vineyard Chardonnay program.
