2023 Font de Courtedune Vaucluse Rouge

Directly next-door to the famed Château Rayas, the wines of Font de Courtedune are hidden gems. Vigneron Caroline Charrier sees herself as a steward of the land, eschewing harsh farming practices in the vineyard and crafting her wines exclusively with whole-cluster fermentation and native yeasts. The Vaucluse is about 25 acres under production and is a blend of Merlot and Grenache. Made in a "glou glou" or quaffable style, this is a juicy ripe red that makes for excellent daily drinking.
