From the Rovittello contrada on Etna's north slope, this Etna Rosso is based on the local Nerello varieties grown around Castiglione di Sicilia. Benanti was one of the key estates in Etna's modern revival, with a long focus on volcanic soils, old vines, and traditional alberello training where appropriate.
