One of Benanti’s historic Etna bottlings, Serra della Contessa is based on the traditional Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio blend grown on Mount Etna’s volcanic soils. Benanti helped define the modern identity of Etna Rosso, with an emphasis on native varieties and site-driven Sicilian reds rather than international grapes.
