The 2017 Fairchild Sigaro is ample and expressive on the palate, with tremendous breadth and exceptional balance. Sweet floral and spice notes add striking inner perfume to a core of sweet, juicy red berry fruit. Polished, silky tannins give the 2017 tons of immediacy. This rich, radiant wine is totally irresistible. The firm hillside tannins need a few years to start to soften but this is a wine with tremendous promise. (AG)
