The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Stones No. 2, from the Houyi (formerly Chang) vineyard on Pritchard Hill, is the most intense, full-throttle and opulent Cabernet in Larry Fairchild's range. Next to some of the other wines the Stones No. 2 is a bit bombastic in style, with plenty of the richness that is typical of Clone 4 Cabernet. Firm tannins and boisterous, jammy fruit are two of the signatures. (93+) (AG)
