A sophisticated wine for this humble appellation with an excellent combination of richness and finesse. I love the spicy and sour-cherry aromas plus the delicate note of licorice. Medium-bodied, this has velvety tannins that are already very well integrated. Quite a bit of power in the long, refined finish. Drink or hold.
