Review Date: 01/2026Smooth and sleek, this is balanced and subtly charming, although there’s a blue-fruit coolness and fresh mint element. Certainly doesn’t have much weight to it, more refined and straight than powerful, but it’s in keeping with the vintage and isn’t trying too hard. Tannin texture is nice, chalky and powdery giving texture and length. (GH)

This shows focus and balance with a pretty dark-fruit character, as well as hints of blue flowers and stones. Medium-bodied, juicy and vivid with very polished tannins and fresh acidity. Nice center-palate with cabernet character coming through. Firm at the end.

A beautiful, classic Haut-Médoc, the 2023 Château Cantemerle offers lots of currants, fresh black cherries, leather, and graphite, with more subtle floral nuances with air. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has fine-grained tannins, a solid sense of freshness, and outstanding length. It's undeniably delicious today yet will have two decades of prime drinking. Drink 2026-2046.
