Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "Lots of parcels making up around 2 hectares of vines; Violettes being the largest part but there’s also Genevrières; Aux Réas and a small part of Vigneux A slightly more modest colour. Oak and a more direct shape to these aromas. Fuller in the mouth, much larger in scale. Hard to judge the flavours today as a large contribution comes from the barrel – but the wine’s concentration and architecture are excellent. I’d be waiting 3-5 years to drink this to let the oak fade into the background…"(01/2025)
