A more restrained and cooler nose is also markedly airy and quite elegant with its mix of acacia, grapefruit, spice and discreet wood influences. The succulent, concentrated and rich medium-bodied flavors are notably more mineral-driven and particularly so on the chiseled, long and well-balanced finale. This could use better depth but that should just be a matter of patience. This is also well-worth considering as it too is a quality villages.*Burghound Outstanding!*

A much colder spot than Maizières. The nose will take some coaxing and this is clearly leaner throughout. More linear, more chiselled, more citrus. Horses for courses, but actually the straight Rully does it all. Touch of caramel at the finish, bottle shock perhaps. Drink from 2025-2027. Tasted Apr 2024.
