The limited production 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon The Core (184 cases produced) is a broodingly backward, dense, rich, concentrated wine with tremendous upside potential. It offers a dense purple color, loads of crème de cassis, graphite and forest floor in its pedal-to-the-metal, rich, concentrated personality. Its precision and freshness are remarkable given its big, full-throttle style. Forget it for 3-4 years and drink it over the following two decades. (RP)
