Note: from a 1 ha holding that is comprised of two large parcels that sit just above those of Domaine Comte de Vogüé. Once again there is enough wood to mention but not so much that it risks overshadowing the more floral and spice-suffused aromas of red and dark currant. The super-sleek, larger-bodied and more powerful flavors possess very good size, weight and volume while delivering fine length on the firmly structured finale. Extended patience will be necessary, which is after all only normal for Bonnes Mares.
