Note: from both Les Arvelets and Les Hervelets where <60% derives from the latter. Here the wood treatment is less subtle on the slightly cooler aromas of dark currant, plum and forest floor. There is better volume to the medium-bodied flavors that also exude evident minerality on the lingering finish where the wood reappears and like the nose, it's not subtle. This will probably eat the wood in time but for the moment, it's a bit oaky for my taste.
