Note: mostly from Les Clos with a small amount of Champs Pennebaut. A discreet application of wood is present on the cool, fresh and distinctly earthy nose that blends mostly dark berry scents with those of the sauvage. The super-sleek, detailed and intense medium weight flavors also exude a borderline pungent minerality on the attractively textured and lingering finale. This does need to develop more depth so plan on 5 to 7 years of cellaring.
