The plump but punchy middle weight flavors flash an almost pungent minerality while displaying focused power on the moderately austere and compact finale. Mid to lighter ruby. Clos du Roy delvers the expected high-class bouquet, still in the domaine’s understated style yet with a perfect rectitude and harmony. Just a little touch of coconut from the oak, but a long tingling and delightful finish. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Nov 2025.
