The 2016 Molino della Suga Brunello di Montalcino has spiced aromas of star anise, clove, dried orange peel, and black cherry. The palate is medium-bodied, with notes of black raspberry seed, lavender, and black tea. There is a warm and inviting structure as well as present, fine grained tannins and modest acidity. Enjoy over the next ten years. (AF)
