The 2022 Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard has a supple, seamless quality, rich in blue fruit while still being floral and perfumey. Medium to full-bodied, it offers a lightness of baking spice and sage within its layers of dense concentration and toasted but subtle oak. This will age well another 8-10 years.Founded by Dan Kosta post-Kosta Browne, the wines are made by longtime collaborator Shane Finley. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the focus, with Convene meant to highlight appellations and a higher tier, DK Grail, allowing for further exploration of age-worthy, collectible single-vineyard sites.
