Flamboyant and fruity with a slew of dark cherries and mulberries taking the front seat. Some white pepper, smoked meat, spiced herbs and a hint of bubblegum, too. Fleshy and fruit-oriented on the palate, showing firm tannins and a medium- to full-bodied palate. Nice crunch, vibrancy and grip here. A syrah that shows youthful, primary fruit and proper structure. Oak is nicely hidden. Delicious now, but can hold, too.
