The palate is layered and complex in the best of ways with youthful tannins that have purpose and vision. Simply gorgeous.(RS)

The 2023 Chénas En Rémont has a high-toned bouquet of kirsch and blood orange with just a bit of reduction. The palate is medium-bodied with granular tannins and well-judged acidity as vibrant raspberry and cranberry fruit come together on the finish. This is better than the previous vintage.(NM)

Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "The old vines from the domaine, a grill used in the fermentation tank. Plenty of colour. A good weight and freshness of aroma. Mouth-filling, with a nice energy – even a little mineral energy – darker fruit and complex in this finish. Give it two years to round a faint finishing austerity from some small bitters – but I think this is excellent…."(01/2026)
