The 2021 Gewurztraminer Eichberg Grand Cru is from the Niedergrot parcel of this limestone Grand Cru. Rose oil is sonorous and smooth on the nose, making this seem rich, but the palate adds exquisite, gentle, creamy freshness that is like fresh whipping cream blended with orange zest. All of this is lithe, bright, citric, tender and just so flowing. With just 11-12 grams per liter of residual sugar, this strikes a most charming balance. (Dry)(AK)
