Reviewed April 2025The 2021 Gewurztraminer Pfersigberg Grand Cru was picked from vines over 30 years old. The nose is all rose oil and peach skin, getting ever more fragrant with time in the glass. It has beautiful fluidity and much orange peel freshness, brightness, real nuance and honeysuckle spice. The acidity makes this so precise and long, packing away the 10 g/L of sweetness.(AK)

Very powerful and compact, with unusually crisp acidity for this naturally low-acidity grape. A cornucopia of candied fruit is wrapped around the healthy tannins and touch of bitterness on the full-bodied palate. The very bold, dry finish may be too much for some, but I think it works well. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
