The 2022 Pinot Gris Brand Grand Cru comes from almost 50-year-old vines grown on granitic soils in the Schneckelsburg parcel of this site. Slight smoke is almost smoldering on the nose while the palate is beautifully pear-flavored, with notions of baked pear that are supple yet fresh. This holds so much verticality, freshness and verve. There is just a touch of creaminess on the finish. The 2022 is a little treasure that still holds so much to be revealed. (Dry)(AK)
