The 2022 Riesling Brand Grand Cru was grown in the Schneckelsburg parcel of this grand cru, mostly on granite with just a touch of limestone. The vines at the time were exactly 50 years old. There is just a touch of herbal lift, suggesting the beginning of evolution and lemon brightness. The palate is bright, brilliant and direct, with just subtle little clouds of peach emanating from the glass, surrounded by a note of dried mint. This is wonderful and lithe. (Bone-dry)(AK)

Orange peel, lemon juice and ripe grapefruit, alongside kernel fruit and floral notes. Pure and straightforward, with striking minerality and clean acidity, building to a long, elegant finish.
