Reviewed March 2026The 2023 Riesling Eichberg Grand Cru was picked in three parcels of this Grand Cru, namely Obergrot, Oberer Stribicher and Niedereich, from vines that are, on average, over 40 years old. Lovely flint plays around hints of green citrus. The smooth, cool flow of limestone stretches out with aromatic citrus, bright and brisk yet so gentle, soothing and cooling, bone dry and impeccably balanced. (Bone-dry)(AK)

A very rich and full-bodied wine that’s properly dry with no hint of heaviness. On the front palate the ample tannin structure is masked by the ripe pineapple character, but it builds in the firm finish. The zesty lemon freshness helps keep it clean. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
