2013 Mayacamas Napa Valley Pinot Noir
Notes
Mayacamas Vineyards is a historic mountain estate on Mount Veeder in Napa Valley, with roots dating to 1889 when John Henry Fisher built the stone winery still in use today. Jack and Mary Taylor purchased the property in 1941, planting the first Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon on the estate and creating the label and iconography still used today, before selling to Bob Travers in 1968, whose 1971 Cabernet Sauvignon was selected for the Judgment of Paris tasting in 1976.
