Pale gold. Pungent pear skin, beeswax and floral aromas show excellent clarity, with a bright mineral overtone adding vivacity. Fleshy and seamless on the palate, offering energetic orchard and citrus fruit flavors and a chalky nuance that gains strength on the back half. An elegant and ultra-pure nose features very subtle yeast hints that add breadth to the citrus, green apple and soft floral nuances. There is good vibrancy to the crisp, cool and restrained flavors where the supporting mousse is very much in keeping with the overall character of the wine, which is to say very fine, all wrapped in a clean and moderately dry finale.
