A discreet though certainly not invisible application of wood easily allows the more elegant and more complex nose of pear, citrus, acacia blossom and anise-scented aromas to shine. Once again there is a highly attractive texture to the more obviously mineral-driven flavors that possess fine mid-palate volume while exhibiting really lovely persistence on the moderately complex finale.
