Bright yellow. Tangy aromas of mandarin orange, lemon zest and wet stone. More pliant than the Sursis, and showing gentle sweetness to its vineyard peach flavor, this Chardonnay is a from a selection of Tissot’s oldest vines planted here on pure chalk in 2002. Despite the young age of the vines, this is the estate’s most expensive single-vineyard bottling. The 2012 finishes fresh and long, with an enticing mineral underpinning. (JP)

100% Chardonnay. Very dense and savoury. Lots buried under here and perceptibly more concentrated than the other two Chardonnay bottlings. Almost minty fresh on the finish with masses of vegy notes and persistence. Very impressive structure but it would be a shame to drink this yet. 18/20 ponts (JR)
