Inky black colour and a super-concentrated blackberry fruit, with an edge of spice and smoke. Lovely quality at this level - truly impressive. This cuvée is made only with old vines from the lieu-dit Lutenière on the far side of the Nationale in Vosne. The grapes are destemmed and given a short cold soak prior to fermentation, with gentle punching down and pumping over. (CC)
