Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Irancy Rouge is the rare red wine produced by Domaine Vincent Dauvissat, the iconic Chablis estate better known for its benchmark Chardonnay wines. The wine comes from a small parcel in Irancy, a northern Burgundy appellation just southwest of Chablis where Pinot Noir is grown on Kimmeridgian limestone and clay soils similar to those found in Chablis. Dauvissat’s Irancy is produced in very limited quantities from roughly 0.6 hectares of vineyard and has become one of the most sought-after examples of the appellation, helping draw attention to this historic but often overlooked red wine region.
