Classic ruby color. A perfumed and again, decidedly cool nose reveals its airy aromas of essence of red pinot fruit, anise, orange peel and a violet hint. The gorgeously textured medium-bodied flavors are more refined though noticeably less mineral-driven while display very fine length on the solidly persistent finish where just a touch of Pommard rusticity eventually emerges.
