Half made in cement egg, half 500-litre wood, unracked, sample assembled. Picked a little later, the last of the 1ers crus, on 26th September. The same mid yellow colour, softer and more lactic. Offers the full generosity of the Montée de Tonnerre, with a buttery touch at the finish which may come from the wood. Still, it harmonises well with the fruit, so no problem. Drink from 2028-2032.
