Maison Frédéric Magnien is a négociant-vinificateur established in Morey-Saint-Denis in 1995 by Frédéric Magnien, the fifth generation of his family in the village, following stints working with Josh Jensen at Calera in California and Garry Farr at Bannockburn in Australia. Operating without estate vineyards, Frédéric sources fruit from small parcels of predominantly old vines across premier and grand cru sites in the Côte de Nuits, with all winemaking stages regulated by the lunar cycle since 1996.
