With fruit from La Morra, this wine shows soft fruit, spice and fine tannins that are characteristic of this cru site with beautiful south-facing exposures. The bouquet on the Francesco Rinaldi & Figli 2019 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is initially shy, and you need to give this wine more bottle age. Redcurrant, spice and licorice eventually lift from the bouquet. Production is limited to 3,300 bottles. (ML)
