Bright ruby-red. Ripe red berry and floral pastille aromas, given vibrancy by suggestions of blood orange and allspice. Gently sweet and penetrating, offering lively raspberry and cherry flavors underscored by a smoky mineral note. Shows very good energy and focus on the subtly tannic finish, which leaves behind notes of candied lavender and bitter cherry. (JR)
